How to Create Stunning AI-Generated Videos with PixVerse: A Step-by-Step Guide
Turning Text and Images into Long AI Videos with PixVerse
In this blog post, I will show you how to turn text and images into long AI videos by using a Next Generation AI named PixVerse.
Getting Started
First, we need to go to pixverse
The first thing we have to do is to come right here and click on "Get Started in Web." Here, we have to choose how we are going to sign up.
Exploring the PixVerse Dashboard
Once we sign up, we will be brought to the PixVerse dashboard. We are currently in the "Popular Videos" tab. Here, we can see all the popular generations of the community.
If we like one, for example, the first one, we can click on it. This opens a new tab where we can see the prompt that was used, the image, and all the other settings used in this generation, like motion strength, seed number, and quality.
Also, up here, we have the option to click on the "Retry" button and generate this video again with the same settings. We can also click on "Upscale" to increase the resolution of the video. If we want to make changes, we can click on "Go Create," which will take us to the editor.
Finally, we can add this video to our favorites by clicking on the heart icon and also download it by clicking on the "Download" button.
Other Tabs in PixVerse
Next to the "Popular Videos" tab is the "My Videos" tab, where all our generated videos will be stored. Next to it is the "My Collection" tab, where all the videos we add to our favorites go. Then, we have the "Character" tab, where we can create a character to use in multiple videos by referencing their name. I will show you exactly how later in the blog post.
Understanding Credits
Over to the right, we have our credits. In the free plan, we get 50 credits each day and start with 150. Keep in mind that one generation takes 10 credits from your balance.
Creating a Video Using Text
Next to the credits is the "Create" button. Clicking on it brings us to the PixVerse Editor. On the right, we can see all the videos we have generated, and on the left is the editor.
We are currently at the text option. To create a video using only text, we need to type our desired scene in the prompt bar. For example, I will type: "Create a blonde woman that is outside while it is raining. She looks very happy with a smile on her face. Beautiful colors."
Then, we have the negative prompt, where we type what we don't want to see in our generation. I will type: "Deformed hands, multiple fingers, river."
Next, we can select the style of our video, such as Realistic, Anime, 3D Animation, or CGI. I will select "Realistic" for this example.
We can also set the aspect ratio (I will leave it at 16:9) and define the seed number, which is unique to each generation. After finalizing our settings, we simply click on "Create" and wait for the generation to finish.
Reviewing and Enhancing the AI-Generated Video
Once the generation is complete, we can click on the video to enlarge it and take a better look. The AI did a great job—the blonde woman is smiling at the camera exactly as prompted.
If we like the video, we have the option to upscale it by clicking on "Upscale." We can also add it to our favorites and download it by clicking on the "Download" button.
Creating a Video with an Image Guide
Now, let's try creating a video using an image as a guide. The first step is to upload an image. After selecting the image, we have the option to write a prompt, though it is not mandatory. If we don't write a prompt, the AI will generate movement in the image however it sees fit.
For this example, I will write: "Slight movement back and forth."
Next, we have camera motion settings, where we can adjust horizontal and vertical movement, roll, and zoom. I will leave them all at zero.
The motion strength setting determines how much movement there will be in the generation. I will set it to the middle.
Finally, we can enable HD quality, though I will leave it off because it increases generation time. After finishing our settings, we click on "Create" and wait for our generation to complete.
Generating a Video with a Specific Character
The last function of PixVerse we will explore is creating a video with a specific character. To do this, we navigate to the "Character" tab.
First, we scroll down to the character section and click to select a character. Since we don't have any characters yet, we will create one by clicking on the "+" icon. This brings us to the "Character" tab, where we click on "Create Character."
Now, we upload an image of the character we want to create. For this example, I will name her "Sarah."
Once the character is created, we go back to the editor, select "Character," and choose Sarah. In the prompt bar, we describe the scene: "Make her be outside her house in a big city and give a slight smirk at the camera. Beautiful colors."
We enable the "Auto Character Prompt" option to enhance character consistency. We also define a negative prompt and set the aspect ratio.
After completing all settings, we click on "Create" and wait for the generation to finish.
Final Thoughts
When we compare the generated video to the original character image, we can see a strong resemblance. Even if the result is not perfect, we can always regenerate it for a slightly different output.
